Serralves em Festa changes the usual museum contract. Instead of moving quietly from room to room, visitors encounter sound between trees, performance on a path, dance near architecture and audiences that continually form and dissolve.
The event brings together contemporary art, music, performance and activities across the museum, Álvaro Siza’s spaces, the Art Deco villa and the park. Its appeal lies in simultaneity: no visitor can see everything, so the day becomes a route shaped by curiosity and accident.
